Gluten Free Bread

Perfecting Gluten Free Bread has eluded some of the greatest bread manufacturers in the 20th century. 

Schar brand of Gluten Free bread was one of the first bread companies to attempt mass production of gluten free bread which was named after its creator Dr. Anton Schar. Scar was acquired by Ulrich Ladurner. For the first 80 years of Gluten Free bread, it could only be found in Health Food Stores and was expensive. 

Earliest versions of Gluten Free Bread used ingredients such as Oat, Rice, and Tapioca Flours.  

It wasn’t until 2008, a man by the name of Udi Baron assisted a Colorado based company in making the first sandwich bread; to which everyone enjoyed. 

In 2015, Trader Joes brought gluten-free bread to the global marketplace supplying sandwich bread. 

Shake Shack started offering gluten free options at its locations in 2016. 

Though there have been significant strides and improvements with gluten-free bread mastery, gluten free bread still has not been perfected. 

This is a rendition of gluten-free bread from the King Aurther brand. A well known brand in the baking industry, flour manufacturing, and mass production to restaurants and homes alike.
